WHAT: RIDE/RUN/WALK scavenger hunt in Chamna Nature Preserve! Instead of going shopping on Black Friday.
WHERE: Chamna Nature Preserve in Richland, start from main lot
WHEN: Friday NOV 24, 9:00 – 11:00 AM, Black Friday
HOW MUCH: FREE (becoming a member, buying a raffle ticket or donating to support local Shrub Steppe Trails Alliance highly encouraged and SSTA representatives will be there for your questions!)
WHY: FUN outside with your active friends, prizes*, support for local trails through Shrub Steppe Trails Alliance**
WHAT: Santas will be hidden in plain sight throughout the entire preserve. Start any time from
the main lot within the two-hour time limit between 9-11 AM after signing a waiver. Prizes will
be awarded immediately following for:
most Santas collected by analog bike
most Santas collected by electric bike
most Santas collected by running
most Santas collected by walking
being under age 12
best costume
Base camp will be set up in the main lot with pop-up, gas fire pit and of course, grilled bacon
and doughnuts! Don’t forget to buy a raffle ticket from SSTA for cool gear/services, to be
awarded immediately following event!
