First Saturday Bird Walk: W.E. Johnson Park.

Because of the human caused wildfire that happened on Bateman Isalnd, the island is closed to public access. The First Saturday bird walk will be relocated to
W. E. Johnson Park in Richland. Meet at the south trailhead near 619 Tanglewood Dr. Richland. We will begin promptly at 8 AM.
This park is along the Yakima River and holds riparian habitat that is good for song birds and there are usually waterfowl and other water birds along the river.
