Manhattan Project National Historical Park rangers and REACH Museum educators are partnering to bring Junior Ranger Park Explorer programs to different parks in Richland, WA throughout the summer. This series of free programs engages families and children of all ages in activities that explore Richland’s nature and history.

Join us for this summer’s last Junior Ranger Park Explorer programs on Thursday, August 17 at Leslie Groves Park. Families can drop in any time from 9:00am to 11:00am (PDT), and no reservations are needed. Children can earn a special junior ranger pin by attending at least two of the three programs and completing the corresponding activities in the Junior Ranger Park Explorer Passport booklet, which will be available during the programs. If you attended any of the earlier programs, remember to bring your booklet back for your next stamp! If this is the first one you attend, we still have something for you too!

Check back here on Facebook for information about future programs. For questions, please email mapr_information@nps.gov.
